“IMMOBILITY” was surprisingly a meeting point between various artistic and public personalities, but above all a beautiful contemporary art event, where in all the spaces is breathed a subtle surreal atmosphere. The public, the people were at the center of the event, have enlivened with the young dancers performing of LabArt Company of Marco Auggiero with ”Arranca” and those of LabArt Repertory of Claudia Sales with ”Murals in flux”, the space around and/or between the artworks installed along the road Discesa Gaiola. The time has stood still for a moment and broke for another moment the immobility of daily life.

The morning rain gave a sense of inebriation, as we saw rise to heaven the ”Raccoglitore di rugiada” in stainless, artwork of Fiormario Cilvini; the installation and putting in suspension of installations of Renata Petti, “The world as a pebble” and ”Time as fabric”, and the paintings ””Decumano” and ”Attack” of Gennaro Silvestro, made a sensational view in front of our thoughts on the future. As well as the sculpture of Lucia Ausilio “Root to rise” … look to the sky to seek freedom. This glance will appeal to all, as it does during the extemporaneous installation “Nothing” by Raymond La Motte, the choreographer – performer Paola Ricciardi through space no one to launch a message of re-appropriation of the common space and the body. One might really stop to be immobile!

Be able to see the immobility through two movements at the same time diachronic and synchronic, and perceive/feel the body in a unique contemporary space, this is the visual approach of Raymond La Motte with his video installation “ImmobPlast /2”, which also includes videos of Jeannette Ginslov, selected from her Project ”P(AR)ticipate: body of experience | body of work | body as archive”.
